More than 42.5 million Americans live with disabilities, yet they remain underrepresented in media. Despite progress, the advertising industry still has work to do in authentically reflecting their stories and experiences. System1's report, Feeling Seen USA analyzed 58 U.S. ads and found that nearly one third (31%) showcased people with disabilities, including those who are blind, deaf and have a physical disability bringing diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) to the forefront.
